He writes both fiction and non-fiction.Richard writes travelogues and murder thrillers. They combine his passions for photography, writing, research and history. Drawing on his early life as an IT Analyst, Entrepreneur, Curios Shop Owner and Publican, Richard is now applying his enthusiasm to the island of Cyprus where he lives with his wife in a traditional village stone house, uncovering more stories of long-forgotten places and events.

Stane Street -
From Chichester to London

The road called Stane Street runs 58 miles from Chichester to London. Built in the first century by the Romans after their invasion of England, for the quick movement of goods and people from the English Channel to the new capitol of Roman Britain. After the Romans left in the fourth century, parts of the road fell into disrepair or was used used as building materials for newer buildings or simply disappeared under fields and swamps.
